Worried About Your Financial Future? Here’s My Advice.

This is an amazing industry, is it not? You have the ability to help people on a level that is indeed quite rare in this world. That ability is likely what keeps you going and propels you through the challenges of building a successful practice.

But, let’s be real. Building a practice is not easy.  With constantly changing insurance regulations, economic fluctuations, political chaos, and financial pressures, it’s no wonder that so many wellness professionals are feeling stressed about their future.

Here’s my advice for you:

Whether you want a huge, booming practice or a modest one, it’s now more important than ever to take control of the things you actually DO have control over. In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, what exactly do you have control over? A lot actually.

1. Your mindset ~ By far the #1 thing you can do to make yourself bulletproof in your practice is develop a mindset of unconditional strength. No matter what your past has looked like, this is one of the most amazing things about being human. We have the ability to CHOOSE our state of being, our beliefs, and how we relate to our daily life. I recommend that you get passionate about clearing limiting beliefs and the ‘survival mentality’ that causes you to see your practice through a problem-oriented lens.

No more playing small. No more acting as if money is the problem. No more hiding from the spotlight or denying your value. What will ensure the longevity of this profession is enough individuals stepping forward to do this deep inner work. I’ve worked with thousands of practitioners, and while this industry is full of smart, compassionate people, there is a collective ‘scarcity consciousness’ that undermines the stability of your chosen profession.

2. Your community ~ Who do you surround yourself with? Are you getting the support you need? Or practicing in isolation? Trying to do this alone is a recipe for burn out and hardship. You NEED like-minded colleagues to support you. In my programs, many practitioners form lifelong connections, which on its own is priceless. Seek this out and get A+ people on your team.

3. Your marketing ~ I get approached all of the time by practitioners who are either struggling or doing ‘okay’ in practice, but want to take it to another level… yet they aren’t sure why they are stuck. Almost always, I can spend 3 minutes reviewing their website, fan page, and marketing systems and diagnose the issue.

What is the main issue?

They were never taught how to market their business the right way. Most websites lack the essential ingredients that make people wanna buy. They say the same thing. They put the same yin/yang symbols and flowers on their site. Nothing stands out or grabs attention.

Want to make your practice rock solid for years to come? Then don’t just do what everyone else is doing. Don’t cut corners. Invest in your marketing. Learn how to do it the right way. Most practitioners assume they know how to build a practice. They throw up a website, try some Facebook stuff, and bank on referrals.

Usually that’s a slow, painful waiting game… and it’s NOT going to cut it.

Yes, building a practice will challenge you. But does it have to be a struggle? A source of stress? Absolutely not.

Instead of getting buried by the stress or the challenges you’re facing, I invite you to simply use this as an opportunity to up your game. It’s time to get stronger, more courageous, and more bold.

Being a healer is great. Being an empowered entrepreneur who transforms lives is even better.

THAT is what is being asked of you at this time… if you want to transcend the insecurity, chaos, and instability that you see all around you.

I have a coaching program called Practice On Fire that will help you do exactly this. It’s not for everyone. I can really only help practitioners who are ready for this, just like you can only help patients who are ready to heal.

If that’s you, click here to get the details and join our community.

Either way, keep up the great work!
